I have tried others, only to conclude GolfLogix is the best. And that was before the latest update which added awesome Apple Watch usability. In the past, the watch would tell me how far it was from the phone to the hole. Normally, no big issue as ... the cart (with the phone) was beside the ball. It made a difference in cart path only” days as I had to put the phone in my pocket to insure accurate yardage. Now, the yardage on the watch updates from where the watch is, not the phone! Very useful! Also, the statistics (fairway hit, number of putts) can be scored on the watch. (Update) Was looking for a golf gps that I could use with my Apple Watch. I’ve got over 321 rounds using GolfLogix on my phone but didn’t want to carry my phone around on the golf course. I have a Garmin watch but it doesn’t synch with my Apple Watch so I was looking for something ... else. I tried GolfLogix for my Apple Watch. I had a premium subscription but I couldn’t get GolfLogix to synch on the Apple Watch. I deleted the app numerous times and reloaded but it finally told me I couldn’t use the features without an upgraded membership. I was just trying to get the app open on the watch and wasn’t going to upgrade the membership without knowing it would work. Had to go with another app and hopefully that one will work. If you’re looking for a golf gps app for your phone, GolfLogix can’t be beat, even paying $20 for the upgraded membership. I just couldn’t get it to work on the Apple Watch.
